Case Study: Rehabilitation of a 26-Year-Old Female Post-ACLR Surgery

Background: In January 2024, a 26-year-old female experienced a complete rupture of her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). She underwent ACL reconstruction (ACLR) surgery in August 2024. Following the surgery, she sought rehabilitation at Ebrook Osteopathy to enhance her recovery and return to full functionality.

Initial Assessment: Upon her first consultation, a series of pre-rehabilitation tests were conducted using VALD equipment. These tests provided baseline data, which was crucial in designing a targeted and effective rehabilitation program.

Rehabilitation Program: Using the data from the initial assessment, a specific rehabilitation program was developed with SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals.
