Samantha was first treated by an osteopath when she was injured competing in the canoe slalom for Great Britain. Her return to canoe from injury, surgery and rehabilitation was guided by her osteopath, who had a great impact on the way Samantha viewed her experience of injury.
Instead of feeling passive to her injury, she felt empowered to overcome it – a sentiment she tries to instil in her patients now in her professional life. The upper body strength and coordination of canoe is translated into Samantha’s treatment style, making for an exceptionally precise and controlled practitioner.
Samantha completed her Master of Osteopathy qualification at the European School of Osteopathy. The school has an excellent reputation for Cranial Osteopathy, and Samantha’s education there has translated into her work in private practice.
Samantha is our resident paediatric specialist, and uses her Cranial Therapy skills in clinic to treat babies and children. She’s a family osteopath, often seeing siblings and cousins from the same local families here in Sutton Coldfield, and from nearby Lichfield and Tamworth.
Samantha has developed a solid reputation for treating children and babies because of her gentle nature and clear explanations. She is a much beloved and valued source of advice to many of the parents at our practice.
In her time off, Samantha enjoys exercising her rescue German Shepherd Dog, India.
Samantha was a Finalist in the Institute of Osteopathy Associate of the Year 2019.
She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council.
