You might have noticed our resident personal trainer Matt has been a little busy recently. For the last 18 months, Matt has been working on his diploma in Sports Therapy, so that he can join our therapeutic team in delivering treatments for patients in clinic.
It’s been a hard and long period of extra study for Matt, and at the moment he is giving up all his free time away from the clinic to get ready for his final exams. He’s on a mission to qualify with as much knowledge and expertise as he possibly can – so he’s been watching the other practitioners in clinic, asking lots of questions, and pinning them down for practise as often as he can!
His course will be finished in May 2019, when he will be opening his list for new and returning patients for Sports Massage.
We have a couple of exciting events in the pipeline between now and then to help Matt to gain all of his clinical experience needed before qualification, so watch this space for further news!
We’re all incredibly proud of Matt for taking on the challenge of further studies, and wish him the best of luck in his upcoming exams!
