Our team were out in force at this year’s 7 Pools Run in aid of the Norman Laud Association this Sunday! Hans, Kieran, Michelle and Emily were on hand for massaging tired runners after the gruelling 10 kilometre cross country route, with Jo running the gauntlet of queue control!
The team welcomed special guest, Lizzie Watters, a previous winner of the 7 Pools run, and current Sports Therapy Student at the University of Birmingham, to help with the numbers, as runners thronged to the massage tent after the race.
We couldn’t be prouder to be affiliated with a better local charity; with the Norman Laud Association providing respite care for children and young adults with learning difficulties. It is a charity dear to our local community in Sutton Coldfield, with many of our patients and their families using the charity’s services over the years.
This year, the Ebrook Osteopathy and Sports Clinic became an official sponsor of the race, contributing funds towards the printing of the tshirts that the runners take home when they complete the course. It was a proud moment!
We’ll see you again in March 2019 for the next Norman Laud 10k!
