Our team were delighted to attend the 7 Pools Run in aid of the Norman Laud Association once again this year. This charity, and these runs in particular, are very dear to our team, and we have been attending to provide free sports massage for runners for a number of years.
The Norman Laud Association is a charity working locally in Sutton Coldfield to provide care and support to children and young people with learning difficulties and disabilities, as well as providing respite support to their families.
The 7 Pools Run is a challenging 10km cross country route, which is used by many local people as part of their marathon or half marathon training schedule. We’re always pleased to meet so many local runners, and so many local clubs represented – such as SE Fitness, Aldridge Running Club, the Boldmere Bullets, Sutton Coldfield Athletics Club, Birchfield Harriers to name a few…!
The team worked hard after the race, ensuring as many runners as possible had the chance to experience some much-needed sports massage to ease their tired legs! The weather was mercifully sunny and warm, and considering the rain over the last week, none of the runners came back too muddy!
Big congratulations to the first gentleman and lady back, and everyone who managed to complete the 7 Pools Run. We look forward to returning to aid the Norman Laud Association for their second run of the year, the Cinderpath 10km in October 2019.
